Luv Is Rage is the debut commercial mixtape past American rapper Lil Uzi Vert. It was released on October 30, 2015, past Generation At present and Atlantic Records. The mixtape includes features from Immature Thug and Wiz Khalifa. A sequel was released on August 25, 2017.

In a 2016 interview with GlobalGrindTV, Lil Uzi Vert explained the title of Luv Is Rage:
It goes two different means. It's, similar, I normally merely say the i manner, but it go both ways. Like 'Luv Is Rage' is, like, 50-U-5: it's Lil Uzi Vert, and, similar, I'm a rockstar, I am rage, similar everything I do, I'chiliad raging. And, it's more, like, yous know rage is, like, it'south non that good, like, raging is, like, rebellious, like, and, like, with love, like, you know, love is skillful. Like, but love is likewise bad too. It's horrible. And it was, similar, a lot of songs are a piddling darker and stuff and, like, y'all can hear the stuff that I say–stuff, like, yeah–I don't know, I'k always in a bad space, fifty-fifty if I'm, like–I don't know, I'm crazy.[i]
The version of the mixtape on streaming services just contains 12 of the 16 songs that are on the mixtape, every bit "Moist", "Queso", "Wit My Coiffure x 1987" and "Nuyork Nights at 21," are excluded.
The mixtape features Atlanta rapper Young Thug on streaming services. Nonetheless, the mixtape also originally included a feature from boyfriend Pennsylvanian rapper Wiz Khalifa, whom Lil Uzi Vert considers to be 1 of his leading inspirations.[2]

The music video for "Super Saiyan Trunks" was released on July viii, 2015.[four] The music video features clips from Dragon Brawl, a Japanese animated television serial. As of July 2020, the music video has accumulated over 9 million views. In November 2020 Lil Uzi Vert teased Super Saiyan two on Twitter equally well every bit playing a brusk prune featuring a similar beat, menses and intro as well as the like opening line "Have you e'er fabricated x million dollars with your talent?" after revealing he volition be revising older styles of his music on his next project.

Darryl Robertson of Vibe called the project "solid".[7] Rose Lilah of HotNewHipHop chosen the features on the mixtape "quality".[viii] Kemet High of XXL said that the mixtape "depicts Uzi at his rawest state", and said that the project was "packed with swift melodies".[9]
Commercial functioning [edit]
"7AM" spent a total of ten weeks on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart, peaking at number v on Baronial 6, 2016.[10]
