Mrs Donna Cameron Obituary Palm Beach Gardens
Obituary
Fischer, David Cameron – passed away peacefully April 10, 2022, in West Palm Beach, FL, living a full eighty-seven years. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Morris and Gertrude (Endlich) Fischer. He earned degrees in Architecture, Urban Design and City Planning from Carnegie Institute of Technology and University of London. David proudly took part planning the city of Arad, Israel. His early professional life was spent internationally, ultimately settling in south Florida, building a successful real estate career.
David loved Paris and possessed a distinctive joie de vivre. Each morning he could be found on the Rue de Buci at his favorite café, Paul. After breakfast he would embark on an enthusiastic walking tour of his beloved city. David always discovered something new, adored the people, parks, architecture, museums, and especially the cuisine.
David loved people, and people loved him. The introduction usually began, "Where are you from?" He would likely be familiar with the street you lived and where you attended school. David was fascinated knowing stories of those around him, always positive, and strongly believed everyone was equal. He took great joy helping, mentoring, and inspiring others. David was devoted to family and enduring friendships.
David loved his sons Michael (KyungAe) and David, sister Ellen Macklin, nephew Mark (Hilary), niece Ann, great nephew Kevin (Leah), great niece Ruby, cousin Paula and lifelong friends Michael, Maria Teresa, José, David, Crispin, Richard, Letty, Bruce, Evelyn, Anna, Richard, Gerard, Annick, Harrison, Ricardo, Lina, Donna, David, Dana, Steven, Pamela, Norman, Carol, Michael, Roni, Steven, and Roman. David was predeceased by his parents, brother-in-law Lester, nephew Russell, and great nephew Michael.
Family and friends are invited 11:00am on April 14, 2022 to Mount Ararat Cemetery, 1165 NY-109, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in his memory to Temple Emanu-El, 190 North County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480.
